More space to relax: New 80m² sun deck by the pool in 2025
In the 2025 season we will further expand the swimming pool terrace with a brand new sun deck of no less than 80 square meters! In this way we create even more space to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the outdoors. The sun deck fits seamlessly with the existing pool terrace and offers extra space for sun loungers, towels and of course a good book or a cool drink. Whether you come for a refreshing dip or just want to laze in the sun: this will be your new favorite place on the campsite. We look forward to seeing you relax here, laugh and enjoy long summer days on the water.
New in 2025: Charging station for electric cars at the campsite
With a view to the future and the convenience for our guests, we will place a 22kW charging station at Camping Du Château in the 2025 season. This makes it even easier to go on holiday to the Vosges with an electric car! The charging station is powerful, safe and suitable for all common electric vehicles. While you enjoy a walk, a dip in the pool or a pleasant evening at your tent or accommodation, your car charges quietly - without detours or loading stress. We notice that more and more of our guests drive electric, and with this step we want to contribute to a sustainable and hospitable stay, now and in the future. Do you have an electric car? Renewed electricity at the campsite - ready for the future!
In the 2024 and 2025 season, we are (behind the scenes) fully busy with an important improvement that may not immediately stand out, but does make a big difference: the complete replacement of the electricity network at the campsite. All camping pitches are now equipped with a new 10 Amp connection, which ensures more stability and comfort for our guests. Whether you want to charge your fridge, coffee maker or electric bicycle - it is all possible without worries. And we are already thinking about the future: the new installation has been installed in such a way that we can easily weigh up the power supply, should that be necessary later. We are therefore prepared for the growing demand for electrical facilities at the campsite. We are proud of this upgrade and glad that we contribute to a more comfortable and sustainable stay for all our guests!
New glamping experiences in 2024: safari tents & a charming bell tent!
In 2024 we will further expand Camping Du Château with a wonderful new glamping experience. This season we welcome our guests with two spacious safari tents for up to 6 people and a beautiful Bell tent for those who love charm and simplicity in nature. The safari tents are fully furnished and fully equipped: comfortable beds, a kitchen unit, cozy seating area and a nice terrace to enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning or to have a nice dinner in the evening. Our new Bell tent is perfect for couples or small families who want the real camping feeling, but with that little bit of extra comfort and atmosphere. Think of atmospheric lighting, cozy decor and a view of the green - wonderfully relaxed, without hassle with pegs or air beds. With these new accommodations we hope to offer even more guests an unforgettable holiday, surrounded by nature and with the cosiness that you are used to from our campsite. The Château in a new guise - Roof renovation in 2024
Season 2024 was not only dominated by new glamping accommodations, but also a major improvement at the heart of our campsite: the Château itself! This year the Château was given a completely new roof, which not only preserves the beautiful, historic character of the building, but also protects it for the future. In addition, all zinc downspouts have been replaced, which ensures a fresh and well-kept appearance and of course better drainage in the rain. For us it feels like a big step forward. Not only in terms of maintenance, but also because the Château is the symbol of our campsite - and that deserves a roof that can stand it for years. Whether you walk past the pool, read a book under the trees or just enjoy the view: you will certainly notice the difference. In any case, we are very happy with it!
New in 2024: Apartment 6 - spacious, comfortable & ready for a nice holiday
In addition to the renewed Château and our new glamping tents, we have added something in the 2024 season that we are proud of: Apartment 6 is completely ready for use! This brand new apartment is tastefully decorated, spacious and suitable for families or couples who want a little more comfort during their stay. Think of your own kitchen, comfortable beds, fresh colors and of course a nice terrace or seating area to enjoy outside. Apartment 6 fits in perfectly with our style: peace, space and cosiness in the middle of the nature of the Vosges. An ideal base for walks, bike rides or just relaxing at the campsite. We notice that more and more guests are looking for a combination of freedom and convenience, and with this addition we hope to make even more people happy. Welcome to Apartment 6 - Who is staying?
New pool A fresh look for the 2023 season!
After a wonderful first season in 2022, we started 2023 with fresh energy and big plans: the swimming pool received a major upgrade! The old terrace made way for a brand new, spacious and attractive terrace where you can now relax with a view of the water. We also replaced the access stairs to the pool - which is now not only safer, but also a lot more comfortable for young and old. And if that wasn't enough, we also added atmospheric lighting, making the poolgets a magical look in the evening. Thanks to these improvements, the swimming pool has become even more the central point of the campsite. Whether you come for a fresh morning dive, an afternoon of relaxing with a book, or to enjoy a warm summer evening with a view over the terrace - it is all possible. We are proud of the result and even more proud of all the enthusiastic responses from our guests!
New in 2023: homemade pizzas at the campsite!
In the 2023 season we added something that many guests are now eagerly looking forward to: our own pizza evenings! From that year we bake fresh pizzas ourselves, to pick up or eat on our terrace. With a crispy bottom, fresh ingredients and love made in our own kitchen, the pizzas have now become a regular favorite with young and old. From classics such as Margherita and salami to richly invested variants with fresh vegetables or extra cheese - there is something delicious for everyone. Whether you have been out for a long day, or just don't feel like cooking: on our pizza evenings we provide a tasty ending.
